Our Story
TimberStream owner Chuck Norton returned to his hometown in West Georgia to retire and finally build his forever dream home. “My dad was a builder, developer and plumber by trade so I grew up with a hammer in my hand and learned about a new concept of 'passive solar energy efficiency' by using timber frame construction in the eighties, so it's been a 40-year journey to get to live in one.”
Chuck’s research to find a perfect design with the capability to incorporate natural passive solar ventilation pointed him back in the direction of Woodhouse because of their history in passive solar designs. While in the design process, his relationship with Woodhouse led to a new opportunity as the Independent Representative for Woodhouse in Georgia and Eastern Alabama and TimberStream was born. TimberStream's core value is developing a personal relationship and demonstrating the necessary commitment to help our customers navigate the sometimes daunting process of building their dream home. TimberSteam is dedicated to standing out from the crowd.
